⁷ From Janoah it descends to Ataroth and Naarah, touches Jericho, and ends at the Jordan River. ⁸ At Tappuah the border goes west along the Kanah River and ends at the Mediterranean Sea. This is the land given as an inheritance to the families of the tribe of Ephraim ⁹ with all the cities and their villages selected for Ephraim in Manasseh’s territory.
